Management

RuleGen BV was founded in December 2007 by Toon Koppelaars.

Prior to founding RuleGen Toon has spent over 20 years working with Oracle database and development tools, and has held various positions ranging from developer, dba (teamlead) and IT architect. He started the development of RuleGen in 2003 as part of a personal research project. During the period 2005-2007, in which he also co-authored the book "Applied Mathematics for Database Professionals" (together with Lex de Haan), he has evolved RuleGen into a high-level PL/SQL framework that now enables 100% generation of integrity-constraint-validating code.

Toon regularly presents at Oracle related events such as ODTUG, UKOUG, Hotsos Symposium and OGH (Dutch Oracle User Group) events. He is a proud member of the OakTable network, and was recently awarded the Oracle ACE Directorship.
